What standards do you work to?
Fire alarms are installed to BS 5839-1 (commercial) and BS 5839-6 (domestic). Emergency lighting follows BS 5266-1. Intruder alarms are installed to BS EN 50131. CCTV is delivered to BS EN 62676 and GDPR/UK Data Protection Act requirements. All electrical works are to BS 7671 (IET Wiring Regulations).
Do I need a BAFE-accredited fire alarm system?
Most building insurers and many public-sector specifications now require BAFE SP203-accredited fire alarm design, installation, commissioning and maintenance. Where your scope mandates BAFE-grade certification we route the regulated elements through BAFE-accredited specialist partners and manage the package under our wider M&E delivery. Speak to us about your specific insurance requirements.
Can you provide NSI Gold intruder alarm installations?
For police-response intruder alarms and insurer-graded systems, NSI Gold or SSAIB accreditation is required at the installer level. We deliver these installations through accredited partner specialists under our project umbrella. For non-monitored installations and standard CCTV / access control, we install in-house.
Do you handle fire risk assessments?
Yes. We provide fire risk assessments aligned to the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005: identifying hazards, evaluating risk, and producing a prioritised action list. Where complex sites need a third-party FRA we work with established assessor partners.
Do you offer maintenance contracts?
Yes. Annual maintenance contracts for fire alarm, emergency lighting, intruder alarm and CCTV systems, including statutory inspections, test certificates and reactive callout cover. Pricing scales with the asset register and service level.
