We work outwards from our unit at Methuen Park in Chippenham. The closer you are, the quicker we can reach you in an emergency. For planned work like rewires, EICRs and EV chargers, a longer drive is rarely an issue.

We are based in Chippenham and work on homes across Wiltshire, from Malmesbury in the north to Salisbury in the south, plus Swindon, Bath, Keynsham, Frome and Bristol. Around Chippenham
Our base is in Chippenham, and Corsham, Melksham and Calne are all within about six miles. This is where we can usually reach you fastest, including in an emergency.
Across Wiltshire
We also cover Devizes, Trowbridge, Bradford-on-Avon, Malmesbury, Royal Wootton Bassett, Westbury and Marlborough. To the south, we work through Warminster as far as Salisbury. For jobs that far out, call us first and we will talk it through. There is more on our Wiltshire page.
Swindon
Swindon is in Wiltshire but has its own council. We carry out EICRs, rewires and EV charger installations for homes there, including this EV charger and consumer unit job.
Bath and Keynsham
Bath is about 10 miles from our unit, closer than many Wiltshire towns, and Keynsham sits beyond it on the way to Bristol. Both come under Bath and North East Somerset Council.
Frome and Bristol
Frome is in Somerset, just over the county line from Westbury and Trowbridge. Bristol is about 19 miles from our unit and is a city and county of its own. We cover homes in both. If it is an emergency, call us and we will tell you honestly how quickly we can reach you.

Questions about our coverage
How far do you travel for work on homes?
We cover the whole area in the table above, from Malmesbury in the north to Salisbury in the south, and from Swindon across to Bristol. Scheduled domestic work makes up most of what we do, and for that, distance is rarely an issue. If you are just outside these areas, call us and ask.
Do you work in Salisbury?
Yes. Salisbury is about 30 miles from our unit, so it is at the far end of our area, and we also work in the towns on the way, including Warminster. Call us first so we can talk through the job and give you a realistic idea of timing before anyone sets off.
Why are Swindon and Bath listed separately from Wiltshire?
Because they have their own councils. Swindon is in the county of Wiltshire but is run by Swindon Borough Council. Bath is in Somerset and is run by Bath and North East Somerset Council. Bristol has its own council too. We cover all of them, so this only changes how we list them.
Does it matter which council area I am in?
For most jobs, no. It can matter if you are a landlord, because the electrical safety rules for rented homes are enforced by your local council, and some councils add licence conditions of their own. Check your licence if you have one, and we can talk through what your report needs to show.
Do you cover the villages between the towns?
Yes. We work in the villages around every town on this page, not only the towns themselves. Recent and regular examples include Box, Cherhill and Littleton Drew. If your village is not named here, send us your postcode or give us a call and we will tell you straight away.
